Fill the boot....and OJ!

It's time for "Fill the Boot" in San Angelo! It seems like every single time I stop at a red light there are firefighters standing on either side of me holding a boot, telling me "it's for the children". So, today I pull up to a red light and remmebr that I have five $1 bills in my wallet, so I'm thinking, "I'll drop a couple of bucks in the boot....after all it's for the children." So I wave the friendly fireman over to my car and open my wallet only to find a $10 bill....and that's it! "Ugh" I think to myself (yes, I am rude when I think to myself....or maybe all the time;). So, I drop the $10 in the boot and tell the fireman, "You just got really lucky...my plan was to give you $3 nad you just got $10 out of me" to which he responded, "God Bless You ma'am."



Shortly after this little exchange takes place, I head to whataburger to grab some lunch (which I now have to pay for with my debit card, since I so generously donated all of my cash to 'Jery's Kids') and was VERY pleased to see that Whataburger now serves my FAVORITE kind of orange juice in a 13 oz. bottle! I simply LOVE 'Simply Orange' orange juice and now I can have it with a taquito (which is actually a burrito) or a Whataburger Jr.!!!
All of that to say......I think it's going to be a good weekend!
