Changes....
A had lunch with my business advisor (Dad:) today and we discussed lots of things, including taking my photography to the next level. Of course, it would be amazing to ONLY do photography full-time and not have to work a day job to pay the bills, but that seems so far away for me. My conversation with Dad really made me see that the only thing keeping me from that goal is my own insecurities. I am convinced that if I raise my prices (in order to actually make a living doing this) then people will think twice about hiring me. I think I have convinced myself that my prices are why people are booking me. The only way I am going to be able to put the time and energy I want to into my photography and become the photographer I know I have the potential to be is if I make enough money to pay the bills. A girl's gotta make a living:) All of that to say, I am going to be raising my portrait prices. My Holiday Special ends November 1st, so new pricing will be effective November 2nd. If you book your family or senior session (for 2010) before November 2nd, you will lock in my current prices.
NEW PRICING COMING SOON!!!!!!
***I will be changing my wedding prices in 2010 (hoping that will help get me on my feet as well). I have big plans for HUGE savings for brides at the San Angelo Weddings Expo on Jan. 31st. Can't wait!
