About This Blog

This is the part of the blog where I tell you about myself and my photography. My name is Rachel Russo and I live in San Angelo, Texas...okay, enough about me.
My sessions are designed to be FUN and very relaxed. With some encouragement and direction, all sessions are allowed to unfold naturally, making each and every one unique and true to the subjects.
All sessions take place on-location. You may choose a location or I will be happy to make some recommendations. I recommend selecting a place where you/your child feel comfortable and free to be yourselves.

Kayla + Mickey {Engagement}

I met Kayla and Mickey months ago, when we had our first consultation. Such a sweet couple! I cannot wait for their wedding in January. From what they've told me about it, it sounds like it is going to be so much fun. Just to give you a little taste of how wonderful these guys are, below is a portion of an email Kayla sent me very shortly after we met for the first time.

"Mickey and I are both very old fashioned and really appreciate people who understand the value of a dollar and have a passion for their work and giving people their memories for a good price. You don't see many people these days who have more of a passion for their work and their clients than they do themselves, so finding you has been a true blessing. You are just one step in making our day perfect and we look forward to working with you!"

....how cute is she? Now for the pictures:)

Below: Right after I took this shot, I realized that I locked my keys in my car! For fear of losing the light if we waited for a locksmith, I just hopped in the truck with them and left my car on the side of the highway until we were done with our shoot. (Note to self: Make a copy of your car key...ASAP!!!)

Below: Kayla, I think you should seriously consider ordering a HUGE canvas of this one to hang somewhere in your house! I love it!
