Stress Free Family Portriats!

Everyday I encounter at least one mother who is scrambling to get family portraits done in time for the holidays. I get asked a lot of the same questions. I have been meaning to make time to post some thoughts about family portrait sessions for a few days now. Taking pictures with your family should be FUN! If a session ends and a child is crying or a husband is asking "Are we done yet?"...then I have failed. I wanted to post some tips for families as they prepare for family portriats, that way things go smoothly when we are together, but photographer Kamme June beat me to it. I was reading her blog this morning and decided that I could not have posted a better "manual for family portraits" if my life depended on it.
