About This Blog

This is the part of the blog where I tell you about myself and my photography. My name is Rachel Russo and I live in San Angelo, Texas...okay, enough about me.
My sessions are designed to be FUN and very relaxed. With some encouragement and direction, all sessions are allowed to unfold naturally, making each and every one unique and true to the subjects.
All sessions take place on-location. You may choose a location or I will be happy to make some recommendations. I recommend selecting a place where you/your child feel comfortable and free to be yourselves.

Apron Allure { Lori Humphrey}

I met Lori a little over a year ago through some mutual friends. At the time she was just starting up her own small business and I remmeber admiring her and being so excited for her. I have thought about her a few times over the past year and wondered how things were going for her, but never really followed through with my curiosity. This past weekend, Lori, attended the same wedding in Atlantic Beach and we reconnected. Yesterday I FINALLY got to look at her website and I was blown away. Such creativity! I want everyone I know to about her aprons and have the opportunity to get one for themselves!

Everything you see below was jacked from her website.....go look at it!

Lori Humphrey is Designer and Founder of Apron Allure. When her grandmother gave Lori her first handmade apron, she knew instantly what she was meant to do. She was struck by the history this apron possessed, the memories it evoked, the family and friends to which it had catered. She felt deep down that this was so much more than just an apron, but an icon, an heirloom of all that her grandmother is, all that she could become, and the power and grace that all women possess.

Drawing on her experience and relationships in the fashion industry, Lori set out to create an apron for today’s woman, a woman reverent of the women who came before and ready to influence the women of tomorrow. Lori used the classic designs of her grandmother’s aprons, but added an inner lining to create more durability and comfort. She included extra pockets that can be used for anything from an egg-timer to an ipod.

Each design is named after inspirational women in Lori’s life, and each reflects a different mood, a fashion statement, an attitude. You may be “Rose” during the week in soft pink and a leopard-y “Lois” on the weekend.Lori, like every woman, is so many things: a wife, a mom, a designer, and a business owner. She is so thankful and excited to share with you a garment that embodies it all.So embrace your inner hostess.

Tie one on. And let the journey begin…

Go see more of her designs HERE!

What does it mean to jack something from a website? I don't think I have ever done that before. Maybe you could teach me. :)I love the aprons! The Vivian is my favorite! You should tell Dad about this site.
