About This Blog

This is the part of the blog where I tell you about myself and my photography. My name is Rachel Russo and I live in San Angelo, Texas...okay, enough about me.
My sessions are designed to be FUN and very relaxed. With some encouragement and direction, all sessions are allowed to unfold naturally, making each and every one unique and true to the subjects.
All sessions take place on-location. You may choose a location or I will be happy to make some recommendations. I recommend selecting a place where you/your child feel comfortable and free to be yourselves.

{Personal} North Carolina Wedding

Well, I am heading out of town again today. I have a photoshoot tonight and a wedding in Austin tomorrow. Before I get too far behind, I wanted to share a little from my trip to NC. I flew from San Antonio with my friend, Jeff, and we arrived in Raleigh/Durham around 3PM on Thursday. There we met up with two other friends and drove 3 hours to the location of the wedding, Atlantic Beach. Friday we spent the entire day at the beach and then had the rehearsal dinner. Saturday was the wedding (for which I cried like a baby) and we headed back on Sunday. It was a very special time spent with old friends that I hardly ever get to see. Growing up sometimes means moving away and that has been the case for a lot of us. It was wonderful to catch up with everyone as we celebrated with Travis and Jenica! Below are a few pictures from the trip!

"The Group"....all from Texas.....
but living in Washington, Dubai, New York, Virginia and North Carolina.

Travis and Brian (yes, they are twins;)

Steve and Sherri (Travis parents, as well as my surrogate family in Boerne)

Travis asked me to sing 'At Last' by Etta James....a capella.
I told him "no" at least six times, but he won and I did it.

Brian and I at the reception......everything was outdoors, so by the end of the night we were so sweaty and wind-blown.....but it was fun!
The Bride and Groom:)

Jenica designed and made her dress all by herself.....ummm, can you say jealous! I wish I had that kind of talent. She looked amazing!
